ClanTrack

Know your family is OK — without watching a map.

ClanTrack shares your family's locations with each other, and tells you when something looks wrong: a phone that has gone quiet, location that has stopped, someone holding the alarm.

Built for looking after someone

ClanTrack started with a grandmother who sometimes gets lost. She will never open an app, and nobody can watch a map all day. So her phone shares quietly in the background, and the family is told when it matters — if her phone stops checking in, or stops sending where it is.

Alerts arrive on their own

The server watches every phone. If one stops checking in, or stops sending its position, the whole clan gets a notification. No checking required.

An alarm that can't go off by accident

Press and hold for three seconds and your clan is alerted with where you are. It repeats until someone says "I'm on it", and you see who is coming.

Clans, not tracking

Nobody can be added without saying yes on their own phone. Anyone can pause sharing or leave, and the clan is told. A notification is always shown while sharing.

Care mode

For someone who might switch sharing off by mistake. They agree to it on their own phone, and it is always shown on their screen.

On the web

Sign in at clantrack.com/portal with your app account to see your clan on a big map, read alerts and manage your account from a computer.

ClanTrack Plus (coming): alerts by email and SMS to people outside the app — a neighbour, a carer — and longer history on the web. The app itself stays free and complete; safety features are never behind a payment.

Questions

Is there an app to know where my elderly mother or father is?

Yes. ClanTrack was built for exactly that: a parent who sometimes gets lost. Someone sets up their phone once, and after that it shares quietly in the background. The family is told when something looks wrong, so nobody has to keep checking a map.

What does ClanTrack alert us about?

When a phone stops checking in, when a phone is alive but has stopped sending its location, when someone pauses sharing or leaves the clan, and when someone holds the alarm button for three seconds.

Is ClanTrack free?

Yes. The app is free and complete, with no ads. Safety features are never behind a payment. A paid ClanTrack Plus on the web will add alerts by email and SMS to people outside the app.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes, both. A family can mix iPhones and Android phones in one clan.

Can someone track me without my permission?

No. Nobody can be added to a clan without saying yes on their own phone, a notification is always shown while sharing, and anyone can pause sharing or leave - the clan is told.

How is it different from Find My or Life360?

ClanTrack is built around alerts rather than a map: the server watches every phone and tells the family when one goes quiet. It is designed for looking after someone vulnerable, keeps location history for only seven days, and has no ads or data selling.

Does it drain the battery?

Very little. While you are still, ClanTrack uses Wi-Fi and mobile-network positions instead of GPS, and checks in every few minutes. GPS comes on only while you are moving, or after you hold the alarm.

Your data

ClanTrack alerts the people in your clan. It does not contact emergency services.
